Passionate Evangelist Makes Debut in U.S. Market

CoverDallas/Fort Worth — “Shining Christ’s blazing light across the globe has personified his ministry for decades, and now—with this new door opening in the U.S.—we’re excited to see God fan that flame.” That’s the outlook expressed recently by industry veteran Larry Carpenter, founder and president of Christian Book Service (CBS), as he prepares to launch a new line of offerings by world-renowned evangelist and pastor Dag Heward-Mills. A “best of books” line, as well as a plethora of new titles, is slated for release through CBS’ publishing division, Carpenter’s Son Publishing, in the coming months. The B & B Media Group, Inc. will help “deliver the message” through public relations and publicity.

“After spending time with Bishop Heward-Mills and his staff in Ghana and seeing them reach hundreds of thousands of souls for God’s kingdom, we’re thrilled to join with Dag Heward-Mills and Carpenter’s Son Publishing to not only help introduce so many powerful titles to the U.S. market but also to spread the word about this amazing ministry,” adds The B & B Media Group’s president Tina Jacobson. “The ministry of Dag Heward-Mills truly has a far-reaching global impact.”

Indeed, the passionate Dag Heward-Mills leads a world-wide ministry, anointed by the Holy Spirit, that has proclaimed the Gospel to millions in the past 20 years through many avenues: dozens of books (73 to date and growing, with millions of copies distributed world-wide in several languages); the Healing Jesus Crusades, which continue to draw hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic seekers to each crusade in Africa and other emerging countries; discipleship training programs and schools to inspire the next generation into ministry; orphanages, hospital and medical missions to administer care to the sick; ministry conferences to equip church leaders; a range of media resources such as DVD’s, CD’s, radio and TV programs; and more.

Most notably, Heward-Mills presides as bishop of Lighthouse Chapel International, a world-wide denomination with its home base in Ghana, West Africa with almost 1,300 of its churches spread across the globe in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Australia, including 63 churches in 24 U.S. states.

While some in the U.S. already value Heward-Mills’ ministry, now—with a host of new and best-loved titles available—a much broader market will want to experience his materials for pastors, discipleship and outreach. A “best of books” line will begin with a pastor series entitled Loyalty and Disloyalty, to be published in February 2013, that will focus on helping pastors build churches with victory and confidence. The Art of the Follower will be a trade book that will launch in June 2013.

“We’re confident Christian retailers will give these glowing reviews,” Carpenter asserts. “The spark they ignite in pastors’ hearts and within the church body could help bring a brighter radiance—the light of Christ—to our culture today.”
